I went to the bluffs for a jog. I was trying to shake off some depression. As I descended the heavy-beam wooden stairs to the rocky beach below, I caught site of three children playing on the rocks at low tide. It made me smile to see them enthralled with the little sea creatures they were finding in the tide pools. I was enthralled with how the scene glistened before my eyes. The body language of the three girls expressed curiosity, excitement, wonderment, sharing, and even a little fear in the moment as the waves rushed in to wash the scene.--Paul Leasure
