We enjoyed such beautiful sunsets when we lived in Carpinteria, California. As the day would draw to a close, I would check the sky and see if we should run down to the beach with our cameras. Often the tide pools would capture the glory of the sun, reflecting gold, orange, purple and blue. Water droplets would spray up as waves crashed against the rocks, acting like prisms, dispersing the colors in a sparkling array. Sunset is my favorite time on the beaches of the West coast.
